Happy! Project, Take One, and SNFU Join Sushicrowd Family
It is with extreme pleasure to announce the association of the American J-pop performance group Happy! Project, the illustrious, wacky, and ever entertaining Take One Productions, and the elite vidya clan Situation Normal F****d Up. All three of these groups have incredible heart and put their own soul into their performances whether it’d be on stage or across the LAN.
Over the years running Sushicrowd, I had the great pleasure working with SNFU director rukia8492 (Itachi Akayuki at the time) at the executive level. He is a great gamer and even better paratrooper, no doubt his new SNFU clan will reflect great credit upon themselves and Sushicrowd. SNFU is still growing since its recent development and is foreseen to have a growing future now that Rukia is back in Hawaii; check out their page: http://sushicrowd.com/about/stables/snfu-gaming/
I had the pleasure seeing Happy! Project for the first time at Izumicon 2008 during the Cosplay Showcase and Theater Contests. Their performances stuck with me for a while as I’m sure it did with the fans at the convention. They have reached great success later in 2009 and 2010 as they have toured anime conventions across the country, performed in main event concerts, and featured in many publications. They are currently on their Kira☆Kira! Happy Hoshi tour and will be hitting up conventions such as Sakura-Con and Sonicon. Check out their Sushicrowd page at: http://sushicrowd.com/about/stables/happy-project/
Take One Productions are not just pieces of work, they are the whole exhibit! This comedy and acting troupe have revolutionized cosplay skit performance and have made lasting impacts with their audience during improv shows. Trust me, folks are still laughing from Izumicon’s improv show. They have also hosted events at a number of anime conventions and have a tour of their own which includes Tokyo in Tulsa, A-Kon, and Kawaii Kon. Make sure to check out and stay up to date on all of their links and videos which can be found at: http://sushicrowd.com/about/stables/take-one-productions/
On behalf of Sushicrowd, we hope great success to these three groups and that we hope to become great assets to each other. Whatever our investment will be to these three stables, count on the idea that our otaku community will be one awesome force for all to enjoy. Both Happy! Project and Take One Productions have just attended Naka-kon so hopefully we will feature some photos up on our gallery and get some individual profiles loaded on the Staff page for members of these groups.
Some more announcements to close this major release; there is still some more awesome coming our way. I can say right now that there are 2 more associations that will be made official sometime in the next 2 weeks; one of them has staff members already working with us but have yet to finalize as an official stable. Some of you who have followed us before the new website’s launch know that it is a cosplay group, but the other venture will involve photography and graphics.
Well that’s enough hints. Once again welcome Happy! Project, Take One Productions, and SNFU Gaming to the Sushicrowd ohana and definitely show them your love and fandom.
